Selecting a period with controversial information, namely Nazi period from 1919 to 1945 as a sample to analyze people’s reactions to information, analyzing methodology of Forensic Architecture work to comprehend how to research specific events through architecture, using film editing method, namely montage, which could be a space design method to explore what kinds of way could achieve the aim, and applying story narrative method to present the result. Temporary exhibition space regarding Nazi propaganda with planned route is likely to assist visitors to discover contrary sides of an information from different perspectives through montage interior design presenting people’s different reactions to same information. It argues that spatial design can be applied to drive people to realize what is true or multifaceted nature of an information via stimulating people’s emotions and planning their behavior. In this case, interior design could be a methodology to analyze and present social problems, instead of just satisfying and economic needs. The limitation of this project is that it may not be appropriate for all age groups, because there are not all people knowing this specific history from 1919 to 1945. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed. Final project: Analysis regarding people’s reactions to complex information: 1919-1945
The only purpose of some materials and symbols application is to study this project.
This study examines how to drive to realize what is true or false in the era with complex and changing information, based on the situation regarding people’s opinions and behaviors misled by false information, having negative impacts on others.
