This series of intimate portraits, ‘I Am Just Me’ aims to shine a light on marginalised individuals, many of whom have experienced Intolerance and prejudice in relation to their sexual orientation and how they identify. I am eternally grateful to all of my sitters for opening up and allowing me to spend some time with them. As someone who has experienced many of the same issues, I too feel the confusion and pain they have suffered, and it is my sincerest hope that my portraits in some way show something of a truth about each person I have photographed.
