She looked at the window. The darkness outside made the glass reflect the room. A shape like moving canvas with long, thin arms was bearing down on her from behind. It moved slowly as if floating on a bed of dry ice. Double-length fingers with clumps of soft hair instead of nails reached out to her, twitching.
