I am an experienced Physical Therapist with a background in Orthopaedics and a specialist interest in clinical biomechanics and medical education. With a 14 year clinical career history and a strong understanding of radiological imaging; utilising new skills such as medical segmentation, 3D modelling and interaction design platforms enables me to express my clinical knowledge and creativity to provide innovative solutions.

In collaboration with the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow the concept of my thesis was to create an anatomically accurate 3D model of an abdominal Neuroblastoma, a rare paediatric tumour for pre-surgical planning and junior doctor education. Segmented from a CT / MRI dataset showing complex presentation, with encasement of the Inferior Vena Cava; producing a 3D Model in a virtual reality environment enables the primary surgeon and trainee doctors to better visualise and conceptualise vital structures.
